Here’s a mind bending revelation for you. The heavens will be rolled up, and the stars will dissolve and fall down. How can you roll up all the heavens? How do you dissolve stars? Where will they fall to? Did I leave the iron on? Ahhh! Too many questions. One at a time please.
Isaiah 34:4 gives us an interesting scenario for the end times. Rev 6:14 also reveals that every mountain and island will be moved. Many have proposed that the mushroom cloud of a nuclear blast explains this. But it does not fully explain the text. That is merely a scroll WITHIN the heavens. But there is a deeper concept here. The heavens themselves will roll up. Hmmm. Chuck Missler is outstanding at relating this concept ( along with many others ). He suggests example of a sheet of paper being 2 dimensions having length and width, and when you roll it up it protrudes into a third dimension, height. Similarly, if a 4 dimensional space ( Yes, 4. length, width, height, and time ) were to be rolled it would need to have at least one other dimension to roll into. Chew on that for a while.
When you are done chewing, I have more. Time and space are actually digitized. Whaaat? There is a precept called Planck time and Planck length. They are referred to in quantum physics. Essentially there is a length small enough that you can’t divide it any more, at which all classic ideas about time-space and gravity cease to exist. And all photons everywhere are in the same place at the same time. That distance is quantified at 1.6 x 10(-33) cm. Got it?
Wait, it gets better. Planck time twists your mind even twistier. That is the amount of time at which it can no longer be divided. It will no longer have any meaning past that. It is equal to 10(-43) seconds. That means we are not in an infinite universe, it has quantifiable measurements, which means we live in a hologram. Or a giant video game!
Since we are ‘inside’ this universe, there must be an ‘outside’. Somewhere where time and space are irrelevant to an extent… eternity if you will. And Yahweh built a house for us to live in.
We messed up this house, ( that’s another story involving a satan for another day ) so Yeshua chose to come in and redeem us, and then restore a new heavens and a new earth for future use. (Yup, He loves you THAT much!)
I for one can’t wait to see what He has in store for me when I go home.
